Nowadays, masks are closely related to our daily life, especially during the epidemic, masks have become a hot word in society. Now we have sorted out the entire process of mask production and share it with you to help you better prepare for mask production.

Combine three layers:

If you cut out the disposable mask, you can see that there are at least three layers, two layers of spunbond nonwoven fabric on the outside, and a meltblown nonwoven fabric in the middle. The number of layers is required for production, at least three layers. Such three-layer non-woven fabric raw materials are stacked together through a production machine as shown below.

Sewing into the nose clip:

This depends on the second structure of the mask: the bendable wire at the top of the mask. When wearing it, pinch the nose clip and fix it to the bridge of the nose, so that the mask can be worn tightly. Sewing into the nose clip is to match and convey the metal wire along the side of the non-woven fabric, and then sew it after crimping.

Cascading parts:

The layered structure of the mask can completely cover the mouth and nose when pulled. As shown in the figure below, three adjustable slopes are used to set a small bevel angle, so that a large piece of nonwoven fabric along these slopes gradually narrows from left to right to form a "folded structure".

Then press the mask surface to be flat by pressing.

Cutting link:

The single cutting and sewing edge of the surgical face mask are mostly fully automatic without manual processing. Different masks have subtle manufacturing differences, some are seam edges, and some are directly hot-pressed.

Edge filling and pressing:

There is a non-woven fabric on the edge of the mask to reinforce and press the ear straps so as not to break when pulled.


Flattening and bonding:

The masks that had been cut out at this time were connected together again, so a link to cut and reinforce the edges was needed;

Hot-pressed fixed ear strap:

Adhesive is also needed on the edge of the mask. As shown in the figure below, the mechanical claw sends the ear strap, and the ear strap is fixed on the mask by hot pressing the adhesive. In this way, a flat mask is completed.
